Laser hair removal is a way to effortlessly remove as many or as few hairs as needed from your skin. It’s quick, much quicker than other hair removal methods like plucking or electrolysis.
Because some follicles are dormant during the first laser hair removal treatment, they will not be affected by it. When they begin to grow again, that’s when treatment will affect them. Thus, additional treatments are typically necessary, sometimes around four to six.
It’s helpful to wait between each treatment in order to let the dormant hair follicles begin the growth process; this typically takes around 12 weeks.
